Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Cotuncilmsm Cox to advise <br />Burns Township that--the City of Ramsey has no objections to their compre- <br />hensive plan. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />CABLE TV COMMISSION <br /> <br />Councilman Reimann said he would serve on %he Committee. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg appointing <br />Com~cilman Gary Reimann and City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle to the <br />Cable TV Advisory Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no None. <br /> <br />LANDFILL <br /> <br />No report. <br /> <br />TUNGSTEN STREET FEASIBILITY STUDY <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to adopt <br />Resolution #80-69 Accepting Report and calling for Public Hearing on the <br />Tungsten, Front & Rivlyn Street Improvement Project and said public hearing <br />is to be held on September 23, 1980 at 7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and~Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />COUNCIL BOARD OF REVIEW <br /> <br />Councilman Cox wondered how our assessing could be right last year, as the <br />County said then, and how it could be as wrong as the County says it is. <br />Councilman Cox said he thinks the County is driving business out of the <br />County with its assessment procedures. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by 'Councilman Reimann to ask the <br />County that when the Assessor completes his report the City wants to re- <br />view a copy before meeting with the County Board. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no None. <br /> <br />1980 FEDERAL CENSUS <br /> <br />Review of Census with Census representative is now completed and the City's <br />figures and Census figures do correspond. The problem right now is that <br />199 Ramsey households have not responded to the Census questiormaire. <br /> <br />The consensus of Council was to send a letter to Helen Wimple thanking her <br />for her census help. <br /> <br />C/July 22, 1980 <br /> Page 5 <br /> <br /> <br />
