Regarding the Park Fee, they are platting 79 acres at $1500/acre and the city <br />is taking 10%. The Park Fee will be $11,850 to be paid before building <br />permits can be issued, but they can pay for one plat at a time. <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said the developer has secured a drainage easement <br />for Lot 6, Block I and a street address map was given to city staff today. <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich instructed that the plans be sent to EQB for their <br />approval. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to grant <br />Preliminary Plat Approval for Alpaca Estates. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to grant Final <br />Plat Approval for Alpaca Estates contingent upon EQB approval and the developer <br />meeting the Park Fee, Performance Bond and Mortgage Deed requirements and <br />any other requirements specified by City Engineer Raatikka. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Camec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson <br />and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to. grant <br />Preliminary Plat Approval for Alpaca Estates 2nd Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />7) Ramsey's Census for 1980 for Compu%%ng State Aids <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle noted that Dorothy Oatman, Metro-Council Demographer, <br />stated in her memo dated July 22, 1980 that the City of Ramsey's population <br />figure will be 9,478 for State Aid purposes. This is the city's preliminary <br />Federal Census count due to the fact that the State Revenue Dept. wanted the <br />figures by the end of July 1980. However, that figure will chang~ and the <br />city's population figure could be 10,000 to ll,000 by the time it is all <br />finished. <br /> <br /> Resolution Requesting an Extension of Six (6) Months in Submitting the <br />~ity of Ramsey's Comprehensive Plan to the Metro Council <br /> <br />City Administrator Schnelle said adjacent cities have a right to six (6) <br />months time to respond to the Comprehensive Plan. <br /> <br />C u ust 26, 1980 <br /> Page 9 <br /> <br /> <br />
