Rum River Bridge Crossing: <br /> <br />The County Engineer gave the two governing bodies a complete run down on <br />what is taking place on that issue. The County Engineer stated the Environ- <br />mental Assessment Study was returned to the County by the Federal Highway <br />Engineer's Office via the State of Minnesota Highway Department for more <br />work to be done on it. The County Engineer stated they were happy with <br />the meeting they had with Federal Highway Engineer as'they got concrete <br />answers to questions they had in regards t5 why they returned the above <br />study. Mr. Rudd, County Engineer, stated the resubmission should only <br />take five to eight weeks to complete. <br /> <br />The County Commissioners requested that this be put on the agenda eight <br />weeks from now as a follow up measure to keep a handle on it. <br /> <br />Ramsey Street Public Improvement Projects~: <br /> <br />It was pointed out to Council that they would have to adopt the following <br />resolutions in regards to the petitions they have received in for street <br />improvements: <br /> <br />1) Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #80-82 Declaring Adequacy of Petition and Ordering Preparation <br />of Report for bituminous surfacing in Countryside Estates. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />2) Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution ~83 Declaring Adequacy of Petition and Ordering Preparation of <br />Report for bituminous surfacing'for 153rd Lane N.W., 154th Lane N.W., <br />Xenon Street N.W. and Zirconium Street N.W. all located between Sunfish <br />Lake Blvd. and Hematite Street N.W. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox. Voting no None. <br /> <br />3) Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt <br />Resolution #80-84 Receiving Report and Calling for Hearing on Improvement <br />for bituminous surfacing for Countryside Estates and said public hearing <br />to be held on September 16, 1980 at 8:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Mickelson, <br />Reimann and Cox.
