Water Pollution: Adequate water supply and sewage dispos- <br />al facilities shall be provided in accordance with state and local reguI <br />]atJons. <br /> <br />170.0] 7 TElqPORARY CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS <br /> <br />170.0] 7A PUPd°OSE <br /> <br />Certain uses that are generally not suitable within a particular zoning <br />district are potentially suitable on a temporary basis. This may be <br />due to the ]ack of development on existing property, to a short-term <br />need (such as highway construction), or to the limited degree of adverse <br />effects upon adjacent ]and use. Although such uses may not be consonant <br />with the uses authorized by this chapter for a particular district, the <br />state of development may make it advantageous to allow certain temporary <br />uses by condStSonal permit, in accordance with the following. <br /> <br />] 70.0] 7I-I CI~,ITERI A <br /> <br />AppJJcation for a temporary conditional use permit shall be made to <br />the zoning officer and no temporary conditional use permit shall be <br />granted for a temporary use, unless the zoning officer shall find that: <br /> <br />a. Adjacent vacant land is not yet ready for development <br /> or wili not be affected by the proposed use; <br />b. Adjacent developed land will not be adversely <br /> affected by the proposed use because of traffic, <br /> noise, dust, smoke, unsightliness; <br />c. The per~od of time for which the Temporary Condi- <br /> tional Use Permit is to be granted will terminate <br /> before any adverse effects are felt upon adjacent <br /> property; <br />d. There is adequate assurance, guaranteed by perform- <br /> ance bond, if necessary, that the property will be <br /> ]eft in suitable condition after the use is termin- <br /> ated. <br /> <br />170.017C USES ~,~llO-t HAY BE GI¥]2N A Tb~.fPORARY CONDITIONAL USE PEM, ilT <br /> <br />If the above conditions are met, Temporary Conditional Use Permits for <br />specified limited periods of time may be issued for the following: <br /> <br />a. Blacktop or crushing plant for highway materials; <br />b. Carnivals or circus for period not to exceed <br /> twenty-one (21) days; <br />c. Christmas tree sa±es; <br />d. Excavating business- sand, gravel or black dirt; <br />e. Stockpiling oI materials for use in highway construc- <br /> tion; <br /> <br /> <br />
