Mayor Gamec suggested the council meet with the whole County Board on this <br />issue and present the resolution. <br /> <br />Attorney Soucie asked that they be notified when the council will meet with the County <br />on this and they would go too. <br /> <br />4) List of Forfeited Properties to the State of Minnesota due to Failure to <br /> Pay Real Estate Tax <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich said the first money to come out at the auction will <br />be the special assessment. The people have a redemption opportunity for <br />about one year. <br /> <br />A resident was present who didn't realize these were forfeited. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Mickelson to adopt <br />Resolution #80-147c Acquiring Outlot "C" Countryside Estates, Outlot "E" <br />Countryside Estates and Outlot "G" Countryside Estates for public use. <br /> <br />Motion carried.. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Please refer to resolution file <br />for Resolution #80-147c . <br /> <br />Release of Bond on Plat; Case of Al:SortebergRequest For <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Mickelson and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />the release of the Maintenance Bond on Sorteberg's Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann, <br />Mickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. <br /> <br />6) Information on D.N.R. Classification of Wet Lands <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, City Engineer and Councilman Sorteberg volunteered to go to <br />the DNR regarding this issue. <br /> <br />7) Good Value Home Request for Special Use Permit to Manufacture in B-1 Zonin~ <br /> <br />Mr. Frank Voth said he bought the building at 7127 Highway #10 N.W. about one <br />year ago and there was a trailer'sales facility and cabinet making facilities <br />in there at the time. The trailer sales has moved out and the cabinet making <br />and component manufacturing are in the back end. He said theywanted to bring <br />this into conformity by special use. He said he was not seeking rezoning <br />at this time, but the council might want to look into this in that area. <br /> <br />Councilman Cox said there should not be any heavy industrial displays. This <br />would not have a high volume of traffic involved. <br /> <br />Mr. Voth showed the council an addition sketch. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said the city would need a Site and Design Plan for the addition. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Cox and seconded by Councilman Reimann to approve <br />Good Value Homes request for a Conditional Use Permit and authorizing <br />finding of fact as required by the City Code and execution of an agreement <br />between Good Value Homes and the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />C/October 28, 1980 <br /> Page ll <br /> <br /> <br />
