Motion by Ben Deemer and seconded by Harry Ellis to approve of the minutes <br />for a public hearing regarding Good Value Homes dated October 7, 1980 ex- <br />cept that in the fourth sentence of the fourth paragraph on p~ge 1 that <br />everything after the Highway #10 N.W. be deleted. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Chairman Peterson, Art Dunn, Benjamin Deemer, <br />Harry Ellis and Katherine Schneider. Voting no None. <br /> <br />Motion by Harry Ellis and seconded by Benjamin Deemer to approve of the <br />regular Planning and Zoning minutes dated October 7, 1980 with the follow- <br />ing corrections: <br /> <br />1) Attendance - show Ron West as absent <br />2) Under Note Boards and Commissions - correct the seventh <br /> sentence of the third paragraph to read equipment in <br /> lieu of keys. <br />3) Under Good Value Homes - correct the sentence of item #7 <br /> to read as follows after the word blacktop ad "on Highway <br /> #10." <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Chairman Peterson, Art Duum, Benjamin Deemer <br />and Harry Ellis. Voting no None. Katherine Schneider abstained. <br /> <br />REQUEST FOR HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT; CASE OF MS. LINDA MONTE, 6511 - 169TH <br /> <br />LANE N.W.: <br /> <br />The Planning and Zoning reviewed Ms. Monte's application, the proposed find- <br />ing of fact, and proposed agreement on her request. They asked her to review <br />the proposed finding of fact and agreement before they went into discussion <br />on it. <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning reviewed the proposed finding of fact and the proposed <br />agreement with the subject party. Planning and Zoning stated that item #8 <br />of the agreement has not been agreed on by Ms. Monte. <br /> <br />Motion by Art Dunn and seconded by Katherine Schneider to recommend approval <br />of the home occupation permit. Further to accept the finding of fact and <br />the proposed agreement for the home occupation permit. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting yes Chairman Peterson, Art Dunn, Benjamin Deemer, <br />Harry Ellis and Katherine Schneider. Voting no None. <br /> <br />VICKERS RIVERGLADE PARK; REQUEST FOR SKETCH P-LAN APPROVAL: <br /> <br />Mr. Larry Koshak, Civil Engineer for Riverglade Plat, presented the sketch <br />plan to the Planning and Zoning Commission for their approval. The Planning <br />and Zoning Commission reviewed the contents of the City Engineer's (Mr. Pete <br />Raatikka) letter dated October 30, 1980, regarding the above plat with Mr. <br />Koshak and Mr. Vickers. Accordingly it was stated that the Planning and <br />Zoning Commission were in accord with the contents of the City Engineer's <br />recommendation as contained in his letter. Benjamin Deemer indicated concern <br />with Item #4. It was noted to the Developer that there would be two separate <br />public hearings - one for the rezoning from B~i to R-1 and the Preliminary <br />Plat and these would be scheduled for December 2, 1980. <br /> <br />P & Z Regular Meeting Page 2 21/3/80 <br /> <br /> <br />
