I <br />I. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />A public hearing by the Ramsey Planning and Zoning Commission was held on <br />Wednesday, November 3, 1982 at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen <br />Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota, regarding Conditional Use Permit; Case of <br />Mr. Ed Reinke. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Kenneth Peterson (Chairman) <br />Mr. Arthur Dunn <br />Mr. Gerald Zimmerman <br />Mr. Benjamin Deemer <br />Mr. Robert Isakson <br />Ms. Kathy Schneider <br />Mr. Charles LaDue <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Mr. Clayton Berg, City Building Official <br />Mr. William Goodrich, City Attorney <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson called the public hearing to order at 7:42 P.M. <br /> <br />Mr. Reinke was present and stated that he is requesting a temporary special <br />use permit until April 15, 1983, at which time he will either sell or remove <br />equipment from his property. The special use permit specifies four (4) <br />pieces of equipment. Mr. Reinke also stated that he is in the process of <br />concealing the equipment with a fence. The trucks that he is maintaining <br />on his property will be used for snow removal this winter and if they leave <br />on a daily basis it will not be until 8:00 A.M. and back in by nightfall. <br /> <br />Lee Ann Shriver - 8051 153rd Lane - Presented a petition signed by 26 families <br />within a 4 block radius of Mr. Reinke's residence, protesting the conditional <br />use permit on the basis of the following: <br /> <br />1. Commercial use in a residential area. <br /> <br />2. Business would be an eye sore to the area. <br /> <br />3. Variance would cause a depreciation to other properties in the area. <br /> <br />4. Variance would open this area up to other businesses. <br /> <br />5. Saftey hazard. <br /> <br />6. Noise increase. <br /> <br />7. Traffic increase. <br /> <br />8.
