Mayor Gamec suggested that any further expansion would definitely require a <br />liner. <br /> <br />Case #4: Metro Waste Management Advisg?y Committee: <br /> <br />Councilmember Cox stated that he is willing to continue to serve on the Advisory <br />Committee,but not without compensation. He stated that the time involved <br />attending meetings is much more than anticipated, that there are six meetings <br />planned for the next two weeks alone, and that it requires an individual to <br />be away from their source of income quite a number of hours. <br /> <br />Councilmember Reimann suggested that this matter be discussed at the next <br />Personnel Meeting. <br /> <br />Councilmember Van Wagner stated that there is an ordinance in effect stating <br />that Councilpersons cannot accept compensation. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Sorteberg to <br />have the Metro Waste M~nagement Advisory Committee placed on the next <br />Personnel' Committee Meeting Agenda. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmember Cox, Sorteberg, <br />Reimann and Van Wagner. Voting No: None.' <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Reimann and seconded by Councilmember Van Wagner to <br />adjourn the special Council Meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Sorteberg, Cox, <br />Van Wagner and Reimann.
