CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY~ MINNESOTA VARIANCE TO SUBDIVISION CODE WHEREAS, Harold Phelps, hereinafter referred to as "Phelps" has applied to the City of Ramsey, hereinafter referred to as "Ramsey" for a variance to the Ramsey City Code Section 170.0314B; and WHEREAS, said variance request is in order to permit Phelps to build one residence on the following described property, to wit: That part of Government Lot 4, Section i, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County,.Minnesota, lying North of · Trott Brook. and WHEREAS, the above described parcel of land does not have ~access to a public street, the most feasible public street being Erkium Street N.W., which is 1320 feet from the subject parcel. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY cOuNcIL, as follows: 1) To Grant Phelps permission to receive one residential building permit.on the following described parcel, to wit: That of Government Lot 4, Section 1, Township part 32, Range 25, Anoka County,'Minnesota, lying North Of Trott' Brook. / ~'' 2) That access to a public street for said aboVe described parcel shall be by a private easement over and across the following des- cribed property, to wit: . ' ~ ~ The West 66 feet of the East 250.81 feet of the Northwest Quarter (NW~) of the Southwest Quarter (SW~) of Section 1, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota 3) That this variance is granted for the purpose of permitting only one building permit to be issued for the construction of one single family residence on said Government Lot 4. This variance shall not be construed as authorizing any subdivision of said Government Lot 4 in the future without f-ull compliance with the City's subdivision regulations, including that provision which requires each buiidable parcel to have direct access to a public street.
