CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY~ MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> VARIANCE TO SUBDIVISION CODE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Harold Phelps, hereinafter referred to as "Phelps" <br />has applied to the City of Ramsey, hereinafter referred to as "Ramsey" <br />for a variance to the Ramsey City Code Section 170.0314B; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said variance request is in order to permit Phelps to <br />build one residence on the following described property, to wit: <br /> <br /> That part of Government Lot 4, Section i, Township 32, <br /> Range 25, Anoka County,.Minnesota, lying North of <br /> · Trott Brook. <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the above described parcel of land does not have <br />~access to a public street, the most feasible public street being Erkium <br />Street N.W., which is 1320 feet from the subject parcel. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE RAMSEY CITY cOuNcIL, as follows: <br /> <br /> 1) To Grant Phelps permission to receive one residential <br />building permit.on the following described parcel, to wit: <br /> <br /> That of Government Lot 4, Section 1, Township <br /> part <br /> 32, <br /> Range 25, Anoka County,'Minnesota, lying North Of <br /> Trott' Brook. / ~'' <br /> <br /> 2) That access to a public street <br /> for <br /> said <br /> aboVe <br /> described <br />parcel shall be by a private easement over and across the following des- <br />cribed property, to wit: . ' ~ <br /> <br /> ~ The West 66 feet of the East 250.81 feet of the <br /> Northwest Quarter (NW~) of the Southwest Quarter <br /> (SW~) of Section 1, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka <br /> County, Minnesota <br /> <br /> 3) That this variance is granted for the purpose of permitting <br />only one building permit to be issued for the construction of one single <br />family residence on said Government Lot 4. This variance shall not be <br />construed as authorizing any subdivision of said Government Lot 4 in the <br />future without f-ull compliance with the City's subdivision regulations, <br />including that provision which requires each buiidable parcel to have <br />direct access to a public street. ' <br /> <br />PASSED'by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of March, 1983. <br /> <br /> <br />
