I I I I I I I I i I I I I Il' I I Motion by Commissioner Schneider and seconded by Commissioner Zimmerman to recommend approval of the request for a conditional use permit for the Faith Baptist Church of Ramsey for the location as stated in the findings of fact and based on the findings of fact. Further, that the following condition be included in the agreement: That proposed future expansion be reviewed by Planning and-Zoning. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Chairman Peterson, Commissioners Isakson, Schneider, Deemer, Zimmerman and LaDue. Voting No: None. Case #2: Consideration Of Park Fee Requirements: Commissioner Deemer stated that he researched City records and current requirement is $100/1ot or 10% of assessed land value, whichever is greater. Commissioner Deemer suggested that a committee be formed to research the matter and come back with recommendations. Commissioners Deemer and Isakson volunteered to attend the next regular Park Board meeting to obtain their input regarding park fee requirements. Case #3: .Request For Commission Input; Case Of Mr. Tom Holker: Mr. Holker was not present. Mr. Berg stated that Mr. Holker is requesting P&Z's feelings regarding the possibility of platting a 13+ acre parcel into two five acre parcels and leaving the remaining three plus acres with the existing dwelling. Commissioner Deemer noted that there is not adequate street frontage to allow for 3 lots. It is the consensus of the Commission that two lots would be the maximum allowed on that 13+ acre parcel. COMMISSION INPUT Chairman Peterson stated that he and Commissioners Zimmerman and Schneider attended the special Council meeting on Monday, June 6, 1983 which was to be a joint meeting of Council and Ramsey Commissions. A discussion ensued among Commission members regarding that meeting.' One particular item discussed was Council's reaction to Mr. Peterson's letter to Council regarding their decision in the Jim Gilbertson subdivisiOn case. Mr. Cox stated that he was surprised at Council's decision in the Gilbertson case, that it was contrary to the recommendation of P & Z and that the decision does not follow proper platting process. Commissioner Schneider noted that she was very disappointed in the fact that the joint meeting was to begin at 7:30 p.m. and actually didn't get started until 9:30 p.m. and by that time nobody was in the mood to discuss anything. Commissioner Deemer, referring back to Council's decision in the Gilbertson case, stated that considering the amount Discount #10 Liquors sold for he finds it hard to believe that proper platting presented a financial hardship.
