I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I CASE #6: a) Comprehensive Plan regarding public utilities with the urban area in accordance with City policy over the next five years. b) Rural area in regards to roads, and drainage, etc. over the next five years. c) City public works needs in regards to building facilities and equipment over the next five years. d)/Park and Recreation needs in regards to play- grounds (which includes skating rinks) and maintenance equipment, etc. over the next five years. e) Municipal Center facility in regards to meet- ing City needs over'the next five years. This ...pertains to space allocation if you add to muni- cipal center staffing. f) Personnel needs in public works, police and office staffing over the next five years. NOTE: I have added more areas to-be addressed by the CIPB than the Metro Council did in their presentation. However, these areas have to be addressed and the CIPB is the best forum there is to review them. Commission Action: Your action will be to set up a work calendar which will take the CIPB all the way through the public hearing to Council adoption which will also include the fiscal analysis of what is being proposed. REVIEW OF ALL UMB 2 ZONING DESIGNATORS: Back several years ago the Planning and Zoning Commission was in the process of reviewing all properties that had the UMB 2 zoning designator but due to work load involv- ing other issues, this had to be placed on the back burner. This issue has come up again and frankly we should get a definite control on it in regards to what those indivi- dual property owners can do with their property. I will go over the problems we have with this UMB 2 zoning designator at the meeting. Commission Action: Your action will be whatever you direct after discussing this case.
