Mr. Klein inquired if Ramsey has any standards regarding design and <br />construction of the pipeline, and if not National guidelines will be <br />followed. <br /> <br />Mr. Yantos stated that the pipeline will be located on City of Anoka <br />property, County right-of-way and Waltek property. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson inquired if there would be any possibility of the <br />generator causing an electrical interference to the neighboring properties. <br /> <br />Mr. Klein replied that there shouldn't be any electrical interference, <br />that it has not even been raised as an issue. <br /> <br />Commissioner Isakson noted that this project has been tailored for Waltek, <br />that it has been indicated that it is a fragile project at this time <br />and is there any f6reseeable problem with surrounding businesses causing <br />this project to be derailed because of Jealousy. <br /> <br />Commissioner Haas stated that she has not heard any negatives from the <br />surrounding busznesses, that they are all viewing it with interest. <br /> <br />Commissioner Hg~s also noted that the County Commissioners will be attending <br />a meeting in Milwaukee Soon, and while there they intend to visit Calumet <br />to view Just how well making use of methane can be for a community. <br /> <br />Mr. Yantos noted that there are two hotel facilities and an 18 hole golf <br />course operating off the methane at Calumet. <br /> <br />Chairman Peterson thanked Mr. Yantos, Mr. Klein and Commissioner Haas for <br />the information they have provided Planning and Zoning. <br /> <br />Case #3: Mr. Dick Sieber and Mr.'Roger Buchanan Of The Charter Commission <br /> <br /> To Discuss Charter Issues: <br /> <br />Refer to Page 5, Paragraph 4 of these minutes. <br /> <br />Case #4: Proposed Critical Area And Wetland Ordinance: <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka stated that the Critical Area and Wetland Ordinance <br />has been updated and amended per Metro Council's request. Mr. Raatikka <br />reviewed the proposed ordinance with the Commission. <br /> <br />Commission consensus is that a public hearing regarding this ordinance <br />should be conducted at their regular meeting scheduled for August 2, 1983. <br /> <br />Mr. Raatikka stated that Ram-sey is in the process of forming a Joint powers <br />with 8 other communities in the Rum River Watershed District, that some <br />of the communities are trying to get out of the watershed but it is needed <br />to manage watershed and quality within the watershed area. <br /> <br />Commissioner Deemer noted inaccuracies in the County map. <br /> <br />Case #5: Mr. William Dorn Resar.din$ His Reauest For A Special Planning And <br /> Zoning Commission Meeting.
