application procedure -", <br /> <br />Local units of government interested in participat- <br />lng in this cost-sharing state grant program are <br />requested to contact their city engineer (for cities <br />greater than 5,000 population) or county engineer <br />(for other areas) so that preliminary plans may be <br />prepared for consideration by Mn/DOT. <br /> <br />Projects can be approved for final plan preparation <br />only after Submittal of suitable preliminary plans <br />(as outlined) and upon adherence to evaluation <br />criteria. <br /> <br />Preliminary plans shall be prepared by a registered, <br />professional engineer.
