Regular Meeting <br />October ll, 1977 <br />Page Two <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read an tnvltat~on from the Anoka County Board of Realtors regarding <br />a meeting on October 20th at Johnson's Greenhaven in Anoka, arda breakfast <br />at 8~30 A.M. on Thursday, October 20th. }'~ayor Cox indicated that he will <br />attend, <br /> <br />OI,D BUSINGS <br /> <br /> 1. Vernal Weaver, Findings of Fact <br /> <br />Mr. Berg read the findings of fact which are <br /> <br />1. In tim event Jarvis Street beco~ms a major thoroughfare it w~_ll require <br /> 120' right-of-way. <br /> <br />2. Since as the adjoining properties are yet to be subdivided it will be <br /> the City's intent to require the same easements of these properties. <br /> <br />3. No evidence has been presented that shews these actions create an <br /> undue hardship on the effected property. <br /> <br />4. This action is consistent with past subdivision approvals within the <br /> City. <br /> <br />5. This action is necessary to provide for good planning related to future <br /> transportation needs. <br /> <br />}~OTION by Reimann, seconded by Gamec to disapprove the Planning and Zoning <br />recommendations based on the Findings of Fact prepared..- <br /> <br />5 ~yes <br /> <br />2. I~ustrial Development (Greenberg & Keillor) <br /> <br />The Council discussed a proposal from ~ir. Greenberg an8 Mr. Keillor regarding <br />a building to be constructed in the Industrial Park. <br /> <br />1,~CUION by }:ickelson, seconded by Reimann to direct Attorney Goodrich to proceed <br />with the Industrial Park Development proposal and to prepare whatever agreement <br />is necessary to proceed with this project. 5 Ayes <br /> <br />3- Gfroerer final plat <br /> <br />Mayor Cox read a letter from Consulting Engineers Diversified, Inc. recommending~¥~ <br />the Gfroerer plat for approval. <br /> <br />MOTIOn7 by Reimann, seconded by ~.~ickelson to approve the Gfroerer final plat <br />providing it meets all the requirements of the ordinance. 5 Ayes <br /> <br /> <br />
