ADD TO COUNCIL NEW BUSINESS <br /> <br />CASE #13: <br /> <br />REGARDING CITY CULVERT ON 154th LANE BETWEEN 'ARGON AND <br />BARIUM STREETS; CASE OF JAKES AND JEANNE 'HARRIS '(5241 ', 155th <br /> <br />LANE N.W. ): <br /> <br />This is in regards to the flooding of the Harris home as <br />they feel the City culvert located on 254th Lane N,W. between <br />Argon and Barium Streets had created a lot of their problems. <br />Please refer to enclosure (_D3-o) which contains the Harris' <br />letter dated April 7, 1980, <br /> <br />REGARDING PLANNING AND ZONING COMMIssIONMINUTES'DATED'APRIL 2, <br /> <br />198OAND COUNCIL PERSONNEL COMMISSION MEETING MINUTES DATED <br /> <br />MARCH 28, 1980: <br /> <br />It appears there is still a big of confusion in regards to <br />what will-be done about the vacancy created with the leaving <br />of Arlene Peddycoart. <br /> <br />Consequently, I want to cover this matter with the whole City <br />Council. First, Arlene Peddycoart's duties were that of a <br />planning aide (Please refer to enclosure (D3-p) job description). <br />Now, it is my understanding that Mr. Berg and myself will take <br />over the duties that were being done by Arlene which were as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1) Work with business that were in the process of <br />enlarging their business which would involve site and <br />design plan. <br /> <br />2) Work with developers who were developing plats, <br />e%c. <br /> <br />3) Work with Planning and Zoning on City project. It <br />should be noted that these are all being accomplished <br />plus we are even going a step further on matters in <br />regards to your zoning ordinance. We are now even <br />doing findings of fact on all cases which have never <br />been done before. We are not using the City Engineer <br />as much on cases. <br /> <br />4) What we're not doing is the typing as neither <br />Clayton nor I are typists. We have generated more <br />typing. <br /> <br />5) Arlene took the minutes for Planning and Zoning <br />and Council and also typed them up. <br /> <br /> <br />
