TO: City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Building Official <br /> <br />RE: Costs for Finishing Basement -City Hall <br /> <br />DATE: March 26, 1980 <br /> <br />Today I received a call from Mr, Larry Syberlick in regards to the esti~ <br />mated costs for architectual fees and construction costs for finishing <br />the basement area at City Hall. He indicated that the construction costs <br />would be approximately $45,000 and his feeswould be $3~700, The $45,000 <br />would include the following: ~ <br /> <br />Completion of adequate lighting in all areas. <br /> <br />Extension of the air exchange as necessary for all areas, <br /> <br />'3) Suspended ceilings in all areas. <br /> <br />4) Carpeting in the two large rooms. <br /> <br />Completion of the existing bathroom facilities adjacent to the fire <br />department squad room as well as the installation of two additional <br />bathrooms in the south end of the area directly under the Council <br />Chambers. <br /> <br />6) Completion of a kitchen area and serving counter in the south end <br /> of the room directly below the administrative offices. <br /> <br />7) Completion of a storage room at the north end of the room directly <br /> below the administrative offices. <br /> <br />8) Completion of office areas using room dividers in the area directly <br /> below the Council Chambers. <br /> <br />The $3,700 architectual fees would include: <br /> <br />l) Preparation of all plans, specifications and bid proposals~ <br /> <br />2) Taking of bids. <br /> <br />3) Project supervision as necessary. <br /> <br />Please advise me if you require additional information on this matter. <br /> <br /> <br />
