Community Development Director Gladhill reported the applicant lived on a flat lot that was <br /> well screened and staff believed the neighbors would not be overly impacted by the accessory <br /> structure. <br /> Commissioner Brauer appreciated staff's efforts in bringing the accessory structure down from <br /> 4,000 square feet to 2,400 square feet. <br /> Commissioner Andrusko believed the building size request was appropriate for this <br /> neighborhood. <br /> Commissioner VanScoy agreed noting the lot was well screened. <br /> Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Nosan, to recommend that City <br /> Council adopt Resolution #16-08-153 approving favorable Findings of Fact for the Conditional <br /> Use Permit. <br /> Further discussion <br /> Commissioner Brauer stated he would not be supporting the request due to the fact he would like <br /> to see the City address acceptable and unacceptable overages. <br /> Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Vice Chairperson Bauer, Commissioners VanScoy, Nosan, and <br /> Andrusko. Voting No: Commissioner Brauer. None. Absent: Commissioner Levine. <br /> Motion by Commissioner VanScoy, seconded by Commissioner Andrusko, to recommend that <br /> City Council adopt Resolution #16-08-154 allowing the accessory building to exceed the <br /> maximum allowed square footage. <br /> Further discussion <br /> Commissioner VanScoy asked if a second driveway was required to provide access.
