6.04 <br /> <br /> 'E. Before passing upon an application for Conditional Use permit, the Board of <br /> Adjustment shall hold a public hearing. · Notice of such public hearing speci- <br /> fying the time, place, and matters to come before the Board of Adjustment shall <br /> be published in the official paper of the County at least ten (10) days in <br /> advance of such hearing. Said public hearing shall be held after <br /> <br /> the appllcati~n has been reviewed by the Planning Advisory Commission. <br /> Permits ~nd Certificates of Occupancy and Compliance. <br /> A. Permits. <br /> <br /> 1. Hereafter no person, firm or corporation shall construct, alter, or move ' <br /> any structure or part thereof, without first securing a building permit <br /> therefore, except no ~ermit fee shall be required for construction and/or <br /> alteration costing less than $500.00 (five hundred ~ollars). In comput- <br /> ing the cost of alteration and/or construction the market value oS the <br /> material used shall be the basis for determining cost. For purposes of <br /> this ordinance a structure shall not be considered altered unless the <br /> outside dimensions of the structure are changed. <br /> <br /> A building permit shall not be required to erect docks, piers, and pre- <br /> fabricated utility/storage sheds not exceed%ng 100 square feet in area <br /> aha 1,000 cubic feet in size'. <br /> <br /> 2. No person, firm or corporation shall install, alter, repair or extend any <br /> individual sewage disposal system without first obtaining a permit there- <br /> fore, from the Department for the specific installation, alteration, re-. <br /> pair or extension. <br /> <br /> B. Certificate of.Occupancy <br /> <br /> 1. A certificate of occupancy shall be obtained from the Department before <br /> any building hereafter erected or structurally altered is occupied or used <br /> or the'use Of any such build'.~ng is altered. <br /> 2. Application for a certificate of occupancy for a new building or for an <br /> existing building whi~ ~as been altered shall be made to tSe Department. <br /> ~s part of the application fo~ 'a building permit as required in Section 6.04. <br /> <br />C. Certificate of Compliance. <br /> <br /> 1. A certificate of compliance Shall be obtained ~rom the Department before <br /> an~ individual sewage disposal system hereafter installed, altered, re-- <br /> paired, or extended is used. No part of the system shall be covered until <br /> it has been inspected and.approved.' If an~ part of the sewage disposal <br /> system ~s covered before being inspected and approved a~ herein provided, <br /> it shall be uncovered upon the direction of the Department. The Department <br /> shall c~use such inspections as are necessary to determine compliance with <br /> this ordinance. It shall be the responsibility of the applicant for the <br /> permit to notify the Department that the s~stem is ready for inspection. <br /> <br /> 2. Application for a certificate of compliance for an individual sewage system <br /> shall be made as part of the application for permit as required in Section 6. <br /> <br />D. General. <br /> 1. Every certificate of occupanc~ and compliance shall state that the building <br /> or proposed use of a building or land complies with all provisions of this <br /> ordinance. A record of all certificates of occupancy and compliance shall <br /> be kept on file in the office of the D~partment, and copies shall be <br /> furnished on request to any person havi.ng a proprietary interest in the <br /> building or land affected. <br /> <br /> <br />
