Any false statement in ~ny document required to be submitted under the <br /> <br /> provisions of this ordinance or any failure to conform to the'requirements <br /> of this ordinance as set out in an issued permit shall be adequate grounds <br /> for the denial of a certificate of occupancy or certificate of compliance. <br /> <br /> ENFORCEMENT <br /> <br />Administrative. tghenever any construction or installation is being done contrary <br />to the provisions of this ordinance, the Department may order the work stopped by <br />notice in writing served on any persons engaged in the doing or causing such work., <br />to be done or by posting such notice at the construction installation site, and <br />any s~ch persons shall forthwith stop such work until authorized by the Department <br />to proceed with the work. The Department may, in writing, suspend or revoke a <br />permit issued under the provisions of this ordinance whenever the permit is issued <br />in error or on the basis of incorrect infozimatio~ S-uPPlied,'-o~ in violation ~f <br />any other provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br />Civil. In the event of a ¥iolation or a threatened violation of this ordinance, <br />the County may institute appropriate actions or proceedings to include ~njUn~tive <br />relief to prevent, restrain, correct or abate such violations or threatened vio- <br />lations, and i~ shall be the duty of the County Attorney to institute such action. <br />Criminal. Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions <br />hereof or who shall fail to comply with any of the provisions hereof or who shall <br />make any false statement in any document required to be sut)mitted under the pro- <br />visions hereof, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, <br />shall be punished by a fine not to exceed $500.00 (Five Hundred Dollars) or by <br />pri'sonment of not to exceed ninety (90} days or both. Each day that a violation <br />continues shall constitute a separate offense. <br /> <br /> <br />
