Bill Youngblood, 9515 Ermine Blvd. asked about traffic increase, <br />i.e., will there be more policing, signs, etc.? <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec said this generally has not been a problem in other areas of <br />the City. <br /> <br />Mrs. Cathy Gallager, 17711 Eaton Street N.W. asked if the interest rate <br />is 25% higher than the proposed 10% rate would we have another hearing? <br />Mayor Gamec responded that not just a 25% interest rate increase would <br />cause a new hearing, only if entire project cost is 25% higher. <br /> <br />Mr. Lawrence Bowman, 9255 - 176th Avenue N.W. wanted to know the drainage <br />plan as it relates to ditches. <br /> <br />City Engineer Raatikka said where there are steep grades, erosion control <br />devises would be installed. <br /> <br />Mrs. Jean Davis asked why ohly a 24' foot roadway was being proposed? <br />Mayor Gamec said this was the City's policy as the City felt this was <br />wide enough. <br /> <br />Also, she asked if anything with regard to driveways will be done. Mayor <br />Gamec said the City would go in a maximum one foot to match up the drive- <br />way. <br /> <br />A straw vote of those lot owners present was taken and of the 39 owners <br />represented 17 voted in favor of the project and 21 voted against it. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to <br />adjourn the public hearing for Hagen's Unplatted Addition. <br /> <br />Motion carried.
