Council Action: will be required to approve/disapprove of the adopting <br />of the following ordinance changes <br /> <br /> a. Ordinance change from 2½ acre commercial/industrial lot size <br />to one (1) acre lot size <br /> <br /> b. Ordinance change regarding side yard set back of 20 feet on <br />corner lots (currently this is a requirement in UC and lib districts). <br />rlhis will effect the UMS, B-i, and Ibl districts. <br /> <br />CASE #4: REGARDING MINNESOTA HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT GRANT IN REGARDS TO CORRECTING <br /> <br />REGULATORY AND WARNING SI(NS, ETC (~N NON FEDERAL AID STREETS AND <br /> <br />.. HIGt~TAYS <br /> <br />gackground information: During the year 1979, the City participated <br /> a State and Fec~ral Grant program which progided 100% funding for <br /> study on regulatory and warning signing of non federal aid streets <br />a~d highway and also purchasing and installation of said signs. <br /> <br />CASE #5: <br /> <br />The City completed the study but during that period federal funds <br />became scarce so the installation couldn't be accomplished. Accord- <br />ingly to enclosure (D3-i), we can now proceed with the installation <br />of these signs but we will only receive 76.73 percent grant funding. <br /> <br />Council Action: Your action will to approve/disapprove. We did not <br />~dget ~or this cost but this is one we should do as we are going to <br />be getting 76.75 percent funding. I shall have our estimated cost <br />available at the Council meeting. <br /> <br />PARK FEE ON METES AND BOUNDS SUB DIVISION OF LAND; CASE OF VERN WEAVER <br /> <br />Background information: The following is submitted on this case in <br />regards to the above party's request. <br /> <br /> a. Fmclosure (D3-k) contains the following documentation: <br /> <br /> 1) Council minutes of March 11, 1980 approving of Mr. <br />Weaver's metes and bounds plat. <br /> <br />.2) My letter dated March 12, 1980 to Mr. Weaver. <br /> <br /> 3) The Assessor's letter to me regarding valuation of <br />Weaver's property for park fee. <br /> <br />4) Excerpt from City Code in regards to computing Park Fee <br /> <br />Problem: Mr. Weaver's Attorney called and asked to get the Weaver case <br />on the agenda. He states his client (Mr. Weaver) can not afford the <br />Park Fee ($2,2S0) in regards to the Metes and Bounds subdivision of <br />land that Council approved off or him. <br /> <br /> <br />
