09/22/16 REVISOR CKM/IL AR4240 <br />7.1 Subp. 36. Lot width. "Lot width" means the shortest distance between lot lines <br />7.2 measured at both the ordinary high water level and at the required structure setback from <br />7.3 the ordinary high water level. <br />7.4 Subp. 37. Marina. "Marina" has the meaning given under chapter 6115. <br />7.5 Subp. 38. Mooring facility. "Mooring facility" has the meaning given under part <br />7.6 6115.0170. <br />7.7 Subp. 39. Native plant community. "Native plant community" means a plant <br />7.8 community that has been mapped identified as part of the Minnesota biological survey <br />7.9 or other scientifically based studics biological survey issued or adopted by a local, state, <br />7.10 or federal agency. <br />7.11 Subp. 40. Natural -surface trail. "Natural -surface trail" means a trail composed <br />7.12 of native soil and rock or compacted granular stone, primarily intended for hiking, <br />7.13 equestrian, or mountain bike use, as determined by local, regional, or state agency plans. <br />7.14 Subp. 41. Natural vegetation. "Natural vegetation" means any combination of <br />7.15 ground cover, understory, and tree canopy that, while it may have been altered by human <br />7.16 activity, continues to stabilize soils, retain and filter runoff, provide habitat, and recharge <br />7.17 groundwater. <br />7.18 Subp. 42. Nonconformity. "Nonconformity" has the meaning given under <br />7.19 Minnesota Statutes, section 394.22. <br />7.20 Subp. 43. Nonmetallic mining. "Nonmetallic mining" means construction, <br />7.21 reconstruction, repair, relocation, expansion, or removal of any facility for the extraction, <br />7.22 stockpiling, storage, disposal, or reclamation of nonmetallic minerals such as stone, sand, <br />7.23 and gravel. Nonmetallic mining does not include ancillary facilities such as access roads, <br />7.24 bridges, culverts, and water level control structures.
