Metropolitan Council Referral File No. 7925-1 ,300 Mc.t:ro .c.;q~:~rc: ]3~ildin[_l Telephone 6111/291-(1:359 Dear Mr. Finch: At its meeting May 8, 1980, the Metropolitan Council considered the Anoka-Hennepin School District 11 Capital Improvement Program. This consideration was based on a report of the Physical Development Committee, Referral Report No. 80-83. A copy of this report, which was adopted as presented, is attached. The Council adopted Resolution No. 80-59 which provides for adoption of this report and the recommendations contained on pages 15 and 16 of the report. These recommendations are as 'fOllows: That the Council adopt this report and advise the Anoka-Hennepin School District No. 11 that this review constitutes the Council's official review required under the Metropolitan Land Planning Act. That the Council provide the Anoka-Hennepin School District No. 11 with the following comments: That the Anoka-Hennepin school District should amend its CIP for 1980-85 when the School District has determined which of the alternative improvements listed in the document under review here it will proceed with. That the amended CIP should be submitted to the Council for review and that it include the ~ estimated cost of each improvement, the location, timing and sources of funding. That, if the School District decides to construct a new facility, the district should work with local governments to select a site in an area where development is already occurring and where central sewer is'available.
