Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 P~E: Zoning Ordinance and Public Nuisance Ordinance Dear Mr. Tousson: This is a follow up letter on my visit to your residence Thursday, June 5, 1980, regarding the complaint this office received on the following: a) Auto body painting business - I explained to you that you could not do this at your place of residence as it was a zoning viola- tion. b) Maintaining of dogs - I explained to you that we have com- plaints on you having more than one dog. However, I observed only the one dog so that complaint was erroneous. However, please have your dog licensed in the City as this is a must issue. c) Animals in general - It was noted that you do have a pig and goat at your residence. It should be noted that it's your responsi- bility to take care of the manure so it doesn't become a health problem or odor problem for your neighbors. Accordingly, I~m enclosing enclosure (1) Section 110.09 of the City Code and enclosure (2) Section 110.171 paragraph 2 of the City Code for your information. Now, while I was there I did notice a very strong odor coming from your hog yard. I even mentioned it 'to you and you stated that the pig was headed for the meat market for butcher- ing so it won't be a problem in the future. d) Horses - You showed me your horses and it appeared that you do take good car~e of them. You are only authorized three horses on ten (10) acres of land in the City o-f Ram~ey. e) Maintaining of all animals - I pointed out to you it was of the utmost importance that your animals were kept on your place and not allowed to wander around the neighborhood. You asstLred me that this would be the case. f) General maintenance - Appearance of your residence yard - It was pointed out to you by me that your yard was messy in the following areas:
