Councilmember Elvig introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-06-160 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0678 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FROM STEPHEN GRAUNKE FOR A HOME OCCUPATION PERMIT TO <br />OPEI~TE A GLASS AND MIRROR BUSINESS ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT <br />17220 NOWTHEN BLVD NW. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Stephen Graunke <br />requesting a home occupation permit to operate a glass and mirror business in an accessory <br />structure located on the property generally known as 17220 Nowthen Blvd NW and legally <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the east half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 10, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, lying southerly of the following described <br />line: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the west line of said east half of the Northwest Quarter <br />distant 528.00 feet southerly of the northwest comer thereof; thence northeasterly to <br />the Northeast corner of said east half of the Northwest Quarter and said line there <br />terminating. <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Lying northerly of a line running parallel with and distant 32.00 feet northerly of, as <br />measured perpendicular to, the following described line: Beginning at a point on <br />the east line of said east half of the Northwest Quarter distant 819.15 feet southerly <br />of the northeast corner thereof; for the purposes of this description said east line is <br />assumed to bear south 0 degrees 37 minutes 06 seconds east; thence south 75 <br />degrees 32 minutes 52 seconds west a distance of 210.51 feet; thence south 87 <br />degrees 49 minutes 14 seconds west a distance of 181.03 feet; thence south 59 <br />degrees 39 minutes 07 seconds west a distance of 749.16 feet; thence south 53 <br />degrees 56 minutes 47 seconds west a distance of 343.82 feet to the west line of said <br />east half of the Northwest Quarter and said line there terminating. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on May 4, 2004, Stephen Graunke, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", properly <br />applied for a home occupation permit to operate a glass and mirror business. <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.05 of the City Code on June 3, 2004, and that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br /> <br />
