Waste Management Property:

Waste Management owns property South of the landfill that the City has designated for
Industrial development. The City has received a development proposal for property located
south of the proposed Sunwood Drive for a 180, 000 square foot facility. Staffhas had contact
with Waste Management regarding Industrial development possibilities and they would like to
discuss cost for the land. Staff expects that this item will come before the EDA for
recommendation discussion in the near future.

BMA Associates:

The City Council has directed City Staffto do an analysis of the BMA property showing the
revenue projections by utiliz/ng the land for Industrial versus Commercial and Mixed
Housing. The outcome of the study should be completed in a few weeks.

State Highway #10 Proposal:

John Darenwald is interested in developing the property at the west edge of the City of
Ramsey adjacent to the Elk River border. Mr. Darenwald is proposing to develop an
industrial office/warehouse facility consisting of approximately 350,000 square feet. The City
is looking into the cost of extending the sewer and water line. It is anticipated that the project
would not be feasible by itself, therefore the City is once again having discussions with
previous developers who have shown interest in the area. The City is discussing proposals
with Northfork, Gerry Bauer, and Tom Kurak.
