Consequently, I will have the Park and Recreation recommend-
ation to you at the Council meeting. We should indicate to
the Metro Council our thoughts on this proposed change.

CASE #6:

PUBLIC HEARING P~EGARDING POLICY'PLANJUVENILE YUSTICE TO

METRO DEVEL01~NT GUIDE'CHAPTERLAWS'AND JUSTICE:

This was in the June 10, 1980 Cotmcil agenda. The public
hearing for this is June 30, 1980. The City Attorney was
to comment on this to the Council as to how it pertained
to the City.

CASE #7: TAXES ON RECREATION LAND BEING DONATED BY MR. RAUDIO:

Comncil at their meeting of June 10, 1980 directed Comncil-
man Cox and City Administrator Schnelle to meet with the
County Auditor in regards to getting the delinquent real
estate taxes on the land that Raudio is giving the City
transferred to the remaining land Raudio is retaining. The
Auditor was not available so we could not get the mission
accomplished. ~

However, in-checking later I find that we had better take
this request right straight to the County Board and get
them to act on it as it is a major policy decision and it
appears the Auditors office has never been involved in a
transaction like this. We will need Comncil authority to
go to the Cotmty Board with this issue.

CASE #8: NON COMPLIANCE WITH DEVELOPMENT CONTRACT; CASE OF R. V. NOON:

~ Enclos~tre ( D2-h ) contains Mr. Clayton Berg ' s memo dated
~.~ ~June 12, 1980 to the City Administrator of a non compliance
/i ~~-~ ~ith the above development contract.
~ ~_ Council. Action: Your action is required on this policy issue.
~ _]~.~ If you back off your original agreement, there should be a
~ ~J~k~ ~ motion directing that an amendment be executed to the contract
IUj ~-'~ and what language is to'be contained in it.

CASE #9: Rt~ODELING LOWER LEVEL OF CITY HAI.I.:.

Enclosure (D2-i) contains Mr. Lawrence Seiberlich, Architect,
letter as to what they proposed to do in the remodeling of
the lower level. Accordingly, they are requesting we review
the above enclosure and get back to them. Council may desire
to appoint a two member Council Committee to review this and
report back to full Council on July 8, 1980.
