Monday, June 23, 1980 at the Council <br />Chambers in the Ramsey Municipal Center: <br /> <br />Contractor Bid <br /> <br />1) Forest Lake Contracting, Inc. <br />2) Bituminous Consulting & Contr. <br />3) Buffalo Bit~m~nous, Inc. <br />4) N.D.H., Inc. <br /> <br />$331,319.00 <br /> 325,929.70 <br /> 342,154.70 <br /> 304,717.00 <br /> <br />The following City Staff were present for the bid opening and <br />tabulating: <br /> <br />City Administrator Lloyd Schnelle <br />City Engineer Peter Raa%ikka <br />City Public Works Superintendent Merle Mevissen <br /> <br />The City Engineer will deliver a letter to the Council at the <br />meeting containing his recommendation after his reviewal of <br />the above bids. <br /> <br />Council Action: Approve/disapprove or table bids. If Council <br />approves low bid, you will have to adopt resolution accepting <br />bid. Please refer to enclosure (D2-j). <br /> <br />UPGRADING OF TUNGSTEN STREET N.W.: <br /> <br /> Enclosure (D2-k) contains the following letters: <br /> <br />a) Mr. Grosslein's letter dated June 23, 1980 regarding the <br /> state of Tungsten Street. <br /> <br />b) Public Works Superintend~nt's memo dated June 24, 1980 re- <br /> garding his comments on Tungsten Street. <br /> <br />Mr. Grosslein has asked me just what Council plans to do with <br />this street as it is in sorrowful condition. I think its too <br />far gone for repairing. <br /> <br />COST ESTIMATE FOR SECOND HOCKEY RINK: <br /> <br />Council at a previous meeting requested the Public Works <br />Superintendent to prepare some estimated cost for a second <br />hockey rink. <br /> <br />Please refer to enclosure (D2-1) for the estimate. <br /> <br /> <br />
