Planning & Zoning <br />Special Meeting <br />March 14, 1977 <br /> <br />PLANNING & ZONING <br />SPECIAL MEETING <br /> <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City of Ramsey Planning & Zoning <br />Commission held a special meeting at Ramsey City Hall, 14100 St. Francis <br />Boulevard N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota 55303. <br /> <br />The meeting was called to order at 7:25 p.m. <br /> <br />Present members - <br /> <br />Sorteberg, A1 <br />Zimmerman, Gerald <br />Bodle, Brad <br />Gamec, Tom (Chairman) <br />Moorhouse, Tom <br />Peterson, Ken <br />West, Ron <br /> <br />Variance request for Mr. Wayne Swedal, 14723 Bowers Drive N.W. <br /> <br />Discussion on Critical Rivers Act as how it affects this tract of land. <br />A1 Sorteberg thought that the State would go with 2.5 Acres in this area. <br /> <br />Ken Peterson made a motion to recommend to the City Council to grant <br />Mr. Wayne Swedal, 14723 Bowers Drive N.W., a variance to subdivide by metes <br />and bounds the following described tract: <br /> <br />All that part of Government Lot 2, Section 30, Township 32, Range 25 <br />Anoka County, Minnesota described as follows: Commencing at the <br />intersection of the Northeasterly right of way line of Ramsey Road and East <br />line of said Government Lot 2, said line assumed to bear North and South <br />and said point of intersection being 362.5 feet South of the West Quarter <br />corner of Section 29, Township 32, Range 25, thence North 40 degrees <br />53 minutes West along said right of way line 1531.29 feet to the point of <br />beginning of the land to be described; thence continuing along said rig.ht <br />of way line 47.89 feet; thence continue Nc. rthwesterly on a curve to the <br />right with a central angle of 58 deqrees '36 minutes and a radius of 310.86 <br />feet for a distance of 82.68 feet; thence North 68 degrees 36 minutes 58 seconds <br />East a distance of 201.56 feet; then Southeasterly along a curve with a <br />central an~le of 58 degrees 36 minutes and a radius of 110.86 feet a <br />distance of 14.40 feet; thence South 40 degrees 53 minutes East along a <br />line oarallel with said right of way line of Ramsey Road a distance of 47.89 <br />feet; thence South 49 degrees 07 minutes West a distance of 200 feet to <br />the point of beginning. ~ <br /> <br />This variance to Mr. Swedal to subdivide, is to allow conveyance of the <br />home and single bot. The intention is not to allow more physical development <br />at this time. It is the P & Z Commission understandinq that a $100 park fee <br />will be paid. <br />Motion Seconded by A1Sorteberg and Carried 7 - O. <br /> <br />August Peltzer, Variance on reducing frontage from 200' to 161.37' and also a <br />variance to subdivide a tract from following described tract (description) <br />(as per variance application). <br /> <br /> <br />
