-2- <br />Planning & Zoning <br />Special Meeting <br />March 14, 1977 <br /> <br />Consensu~s was that it would be alright. <br /> <br />A1 Sorteberg made a Motion to recommend to the City Council to grant a <br />variance to subdivision ordinance to subdivide the Southerly 130' of the <br />commercial lot as described in l~egal description: The S 394.37 feet of the <br />West 524 feet Ex the South 233 feet of the West and South lines thereof, as <br />measured along the West and South Lines thereof of the Southwest 1/4 of the South- <br />west 1/4 of Sec. 22, Township 32, Range 25, Anoka Co. MN Subject to an easement <br />for road purposes over the West 60 feet thereof and over the East 66 feet thereof <br />and over the East 66 feet thereof and over the South 33 feet thereof. <br />Limonite and Ramsey Road. <br /> <br />Seconded by Ron West;Carried 6 - O. <br /> <br />Tom Moorhouse abstained because he did not have time to view the property. <br /> <br />A1 Sorteberg mvoed to recommend to the City Council to grant a variance <br />to issue a building permit to build on the westerly part of the described <br />commercial lot with a frontaqe of 161.37 feet instead of the required <br />200' frontage, Seconded by Ken Peterson and Carried 6 - O, Tom Moorhouse <br />abstained - same reason as above. <br /> <br />Don Greenberg, Discussion on road through Industrial Park. <br /> <br />Don Greenberg stated that Mayor Cox is working with ~1~ Menkveld on the <br />road throueh his land. Don also said that the county wanted to begin <br />construction on this road by fall. <br /> <br />Feasibility Study is being proposed (costing about $11,000) as to its <br />possibility of present airport becoming a municipal airport. 80 - 90% of <br />cost will be paid by state & federal agencies, and 10% + by industrial <br />park owners. <br /> <br />Don Greenberg stated that this airport is the tenth highest in the state as to <br />number of take offs and landings. <br /> <br />A1 Sorteberg moved to adjourn, Seconded by Tom Moorhouse.
