TO: City Administrator <br /> <br />FROM: Public Works Superintendent <br /> <br />RE: Culvert at 177th and Tonto <br /> <br />DATE: July 1~ 1980 <br /> <br />The culvert at this intersection has been a problem for years because <br />it is more than a 90° corner and cars and buses keep running over the <br />end of it and bending it. I extended it once, hoping to keep traffic <br />off of the end of it but they keep cutting the corner more. <br /> <br />There is also a problem with draining the water on the Nelson property <br />as it washes dirt onto their sod and washes out the ditch bank. <br /> <br />I am suggesting to change the water flow across Torito Street and in- <br />stalling a culvert in Don Daly's driveway and let the water run over <br />the hill there. I have Mr. Daly's permission as long as we restore it <br />in the same condition as it is now. <br /> <br />~: sb <br /> <br /> <br />
