Geno Moroz from ~oroz OK Hardware was present and asked if the city wanted a gas station up there and he would like to get a variance on it. Councilman Reimann said the city agreed to a gas station there, but he asked if he could live with the 90' set at the last meeting. ~r. ~oroz said he couldn't go ths"90' He said no one told him anything about paying $90.00 for a variance at the last meeting. He asked what Bob Muller is getting for a setback. City Administrator Schnelle said he would look the information up for him and get back to him at a later time. 6. Adoption of Ordinance #80-3 Rezoning Land; Case of Dr. Burnell Motion by Councilman Sorteberg and seconded by Councilman liickelson to adopt Ordinance #80-3 Amending Section 170.O12 of ~hapter 170.O1 of the City Code- Of Ramsey, Minnesota to Rezone the Property of Dr.- Burnell from I-1 Industrial to B-1 Business. Motion carried. Voting yes-Councilmen Reimaun, Sorteberg, ~ickelson and Cox. Voting no-None. Please refer to ordinance file for Ordinance #80-3. 7. Cable TV Regarding Ramsey, Anoka and Champlin City Administrator Schnelle said the material on this was for council information only. 8. Board of Review Action on~arket Values in the City of Ramsey and Legislation Pertaining To It City Administrator Schnelle informed the council that City Assessor Wirz was going to'take the Board of Revi&w Resolution #80-1 and attachments to the County Assessor. When the. city reduced the valuations, it split the cost over the county, so they may be reluctant to go along with it. He recommended'appointing a council person to get'together.with the County to get their wholehearted support on this. ~otion by Councilman~ickelson and seconded by Councilman Cox that the Legislative Committee person go to the County to get their support for the city's resolution on~arket Values in the City of R~m~ey and Le. gislation Pertaining To It. Motion carried. Voting yes-Councilmen Reimann, Sortebe~g, ~ckelson and Cox. Voting no-None. 9. Amending Subdivision Code Regarding Lot Size Calculation to Include Streets in Cases'of Two and One-Half Acre Lots or'Larger in Transitional or Rural Service Area City A~m~nistrator Schnelle said that this amendment was erroneously omm~tted from a list of amendments at the public hearing that was held to include the proposed amendment.
