section has been previously used in the city and other communities with no detri-
mental effects. It is estimated that this street section has a life expectancy
of 15 years with minimal maintenance.

The proposed construction would not include any driveway construction with the
exception of a one foot apron, which would be provided on all driveways to pro-
tect the edge of the pavement. It would be the homeowner's responsibility to
extend the existing bituminous or concrete driveways to match the street.

Storm Drainaqe Improvement:

As previously mentioned it is proposed to install a culvert at the intersection
of 177th Lane and Erkium Street. In addition minor ditch cleaning and culvert
cleaning of the cross street culverts are proposed at this time.

Some existing driveways presently do not have driveway culverts. While not all
driveways require a driveway culvert, those driveways which presently may cause
potential flooding problems should be required to have culverts installed. This
work is proposed to be done by the owner of the affected property.

Costs:

Estimated costs and estimated quantities are provided on the following page for
the proposed improvements:

3
