July 15, 1980

Mr. Lawrence Lund
15210 Hedgehog
Ramsey, Minnesota

55303

RE: Zoning Violation of the City Code Section 170.013D(I), 110.171,
110.191

Dear Mr. Lurid:

On Ju~y 9, 1980, I visited your residence at the above address in regards
to the zoning complaints that were filed on you at the Council meeting of
July 8, 1980. During n~v visit to your residence I discussed with you
that your neighbors in the general area were very upset by the fact that
you were operating an auto body repair business and creating a blight in
the entire neighborhood which is zoned as an R-1 district.

Accordingly, the City of Ramsey is giving you fifteen (15) days to abate
the above zoning violation. Failure to comply with the City Code will
result in the City taking immediate legal action against you .for the serious
violations of the City Code. The City will inspect your residence on
July 30, 1980 to see that you have complied with the above code violations.

I have enclosed copies of the City Code sections that are indicated for your
information in regards to you case. The City of Ramsey hastens to inform its
citizens that zoning violations are a very costly item to administer. Con-
sequently, your zoning violation creates a tax burden on the community when
the community is striving to keep taxes low so we all can afford the better
things in life.

Should you have any further questions, please call me at 427-1410.
Sincerely,

~ ~ A~n~trator/Olerk
Enclosure

cc: Mayor and City Council
City Attorney
