to Greenberg's, Inc. showroom and maintenance department at a cost of <br />$350,000.00 was completed in 1979. Greenberg's is the local AMC and <br />Oldsmobile dealership. A 14,000 square foot addition to Kovar Manu- <br />facturing, Inc. plant at a cost of $400,000.00 was completed in 1979. <br />A manufacturing plant for Soderholm and Associates costing $250,000 <br />will be completed in 1980. <br /> <br />A privately owned 320 acre industrial park located in the City has natural <br />gas, electrical power, major trunk highway and direct railroad service in- <br />cluding an in park spur, is available. A major Anoka County thoroughfare <br />highway runs through the City which highway is adjacent to the Industrial <br />Park. Anoka County has prepared a project development report for a bridge <br />crossing the Rum River which bridge would also provide a direct line to <br />the Industrial Park. Construction of such a bridge would give the entire <br />City an access to a Highway #10 interchange without an at grade railroad <br />crossing. Currently, nine (9) firms have plants in the industrial park, <br />including Mate Punch & Die and Pre-Stressed Concrete. The bank re-. <br />ports total assets of $38,400,000 as of June 12, 1980. Addit'ional bankinE <br />facilities are available in the adjacent City of Anoka. <br /> <br />Commercfal Services <br /> <br />The City is served by an International truck dealer and an AMC and Olds- <br />mobile dealership. There are three (3) recreational vehicle dealers <br />located in the City. <br /> <br />In addition, the City is served by a large supermarket, two (2) smaller <br />convenience markets, two (2) restaurants and supper clubs. Recently <br />completed is a sixteen (16) lane bowling alley, cocktail lounge and <br />restaurant facility. Also, two (2) large professional office buildings <br />are located in the City. The City recently authorized the issuance of <br />two off-sale liquor licenses and just constructed and opened for business <br />are two (2) new off-sale liquor stores. <br /> <br />The City is located within ten (10) miles of two (2) major regional shopping <br />centers. <br /> <br /> <br />
