SPECIAL COUNCIL City of Ramsey Anoka County State of Minnesota Pursuant to due call and notice themeof, the Ramsey City Council held a special meeting on August 8, 1980, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W., Ramsey, Minnesota~ Members Present: Mayor Gamec Councilman Sorteberg Councilman Reimann Councilman Cox Members Absent: Councilman Mickelson Also Present: City Engineer Raatikka City Administrator Schnelle Mayor Gamec informally called the meeting to Order at 5:10 P.M. He stated the purpose of the meeting was to act on the'bids on Street Projects #80-9, 80-10, 80-11, 80-12 and 80-14, approval of election~ judges for'Primary and General Elections 1980, pay raise of the Election~Judge Chairmen and the Industrial Park street paving. A) Receive-and,'Aecept,'Bids,'o~,~St~eet'Projeets Motion by Councilman Cox'and seconded by Councilman Reimann to adopt Resolution #80-74B to receive and accept bids on' Street Projegts #80-9, 80-10, 80-11, 80-12 and 80-14 and to .award the'bid to the low'bidder, N.D.H., Inc., whose total bid was $319,407.50. Motion carried. Voting yes-Mayor Gamec, Councilmen Sorteberg, Reimann and Cox. Voting no-None. C) Raise the'Pay.'of'the'Six,'(6)'Election'Judge~'Chairmen Motion by Councilman Reimann and seconded by Councilman Sorteberg to approve the raise in pay of'the six (6) Election'Judge Chai~men~from $8.00 to $3.25 because the chairmen have a greater responsibility than the election judges whose pay is $3.00. ~tion carried..
