DEVELO?I,IENT CONTRACT - PARKWAY ESTATES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into on the date specified in paragraph 15d <br />herein, by and between the City of Blaine, a municipal corporation of the State of <br />Minnesota (hereinafter called the "City"), and the owners' and the subdividers iden- <br />tified in paragraph 15 herein (hereinafter called the "Developers"). <br /> <br />WITHNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Developers are the owners of the following described property <br />situated in the County of Anoka, State of Minnesota: <br /> <br />PARKWAY ESTATES, as recorded with the Register of Deeds <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City has approved said plat, designated as Parkway Estates, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Developers have submitted a petition to the City requesting the <br />construction of improvements in the above described area, as follows: Sanitary <br />sewer, storm drainage facilities, watermains and appurtenances, streets with con- <br />crete curb and gutter, street lighting, street signs and traffic signs. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Developers have requested the above described improvements to be <br />constructed in one phase, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has reviewed and'accepted a feasibility report of Consulting <br />Engineers Diversified, Inc., and has ordered the preparation of final plans and <br />specifications for the requested improvements affecting the plat, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has advertised for bids for the construction of said improve- <br />ments affecting the plat and will award a contract for the construction of said im- <br />provements to the lowest responsible bidder, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Ordinance requires park dedication payment of $16,128.00. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City and Developers agree as follows: <br /> <br />That the recitals above and the provisions of the Pla~ting Ordinance of the <br />City as amended to date hereof, are incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />The City agrees to construct the requested.improvements according to the terms <br />and conditions of this contract. <br /> <br />The Developer will pay a cash park dedication fee of $16,128.00 before the <br />final plat is released to the Developer, and the City agrees to accep$ said <br />payment in lieu of park dedication. '- <br /> <br />The City agrees to sell bonds to cover the cost of construction of said im- <br />provements made by the City and the City will advertise for bids for the <br />construction of said improvements and will award a contract for the construc- <br />tion of said improvements to the lowest responsible bidder[ <br /> <br /> <br />
