170.073.512 <br /> <br />170.073.5!3 ' <br /> <br />170. 073.5!4 <br /> <br />170.073.5 ]_5 <br /> <br />170. 073.5 16 <br /> <br />170. 073.5 17 <br /> <br />170.073.5 <br /> <br />"}.~ning Operation" means the renmval of stone, sand mhd <br />gravel, coal, salt, iron, copper, nickel, petroleum or <br />other material from the land for commercial, industrial, <br />or governmental purposes. <br /> <br />"Noncom%rming Use" means any use of lmnd established <br />before the effective date of this ordinance which does <br />not conform to the use restrictions of a particular zoning <br />district. This should not be confused with substandard <br />dimensions of a conforming use. <br /> <br />"Open Space Recreation Uses" mesm~ recreation use partic- <br />ularly oriented to and utilizing the outdoor character of <br />any area; including hiking and riding trails, primitive <br />campsites, campgrounds, waysides, parks and recreational <br />areas. <br /> <br />"Ordinary high water level" means the boundary of public <br />waters and wetlands, and shall be mn elevation delineating <br />the highest water level which has been maintained for <br />a sufficient period of time to leave evidence upon the <br />landscape, commonly that point where the natural vegetation <br />changes from predominantly aquatic to predominantly <br />terrestrial. For watercourses, the ordinary high water <br />level shall be the elevation of the top of the bank of the <br />channel. For reservoirs and flowages, the ordinary high <br />water level shall be the operating elevation of the normal <br />sum~ner pool. <br /> <br />"Planned Cluster Development" means a patter~ of subdivision <br />development which places dwelling Knits into compact group- <br />ings while providing a commonly o~maed or dedicated open <br />space. <br /> <br />"Primitive Campsites: means an area that consists of indi- <br />vidual remote campsites accessible only by foot or water. <br />"Screened: means when a structure is built or placed on a <br />lot or visually inconspicuous as viewed from the river <br />during the summer months. Visually incop~picuous means <br />difficult to see or not readily noticeable in summer months <br />as viewed from the river. <br /> <br /> <br />
