Creighton, legal consultant <br />to the Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable Commission, requesting that the Minnesota Cable <br />Communications Board (MCCB) continue its consideration of a proposal by the City <br />of Andover for an expansion of the Anoka/Champlin/Ramsey Cable Service Territory <br />(CST) to encompass the corporate limits of Andover. <br /> <br />As you have been advised, the BQard has received a letter from Patricial K. <br />Lindquist, acting administrator of the City of Andover, similarly requesting <br />that the Board continue consideration of the propOsal until its next meeting. <br /> <br />During its meeting on September 12, 1~80, the Minnesota Cable Communications Board <br />postponed action on the City of Andover's CST expansion proposal, and referred the <br />proposal back to the city council of the City of Andover for the purpose of re- <br />consideration of designation of an initial service area. The Board is scheduled <br />to meet again at 9 a.m. on October 17, 1980, and the Commission's comments would <br />again be welcolne prior 'to that time or during the meeting. <br /> <br />Attached hereto are copies of MCCB staff memorandum to the Board dated September <br />4, i980; the motion adopted by the Board on September 12, 1980 and today's letter <br />to the City of Andover. <br /> <br />Feel free to contact me any time at 296-6619. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />cc: Mr. Roger Israel, Metropolitan Council <br /> Mr. Thomas D.
