CASE #6: CASE #7: REAPPRAISED PROPERTY VALUATION IN REGARDS TO RAMSEY'S BOARD OF REVIEW~ ACTION (RESOLUTION #80-1): This case appeared on Council agenda dated September 8, 1980 under Council New Business D-3 case #10. Your action was to have me inform the County Assessor's office as follows: "To inform the County Assessor that all the property owners whose property increased from the special assessment were to be in- formed that they would have an opportunity to meet at the Ramsey Municipal Center to review this increase with the County Assessor, Commissioner Fields and City Council present." This won't happen as the County has already mailed out their cards telling them if they had a problem with the increased valuation to come into the Court House and see the Assessor. Question: Does the Ramsey Council want to take any further action? Maybe you might want to set up a special meeting in- viting the above parties in to meet with the County Assessor, Commissioner Fields and you and go over it. INFORMATIONAL ITEMS (COUNCIL RESOLUTIONS AND LETTERS) FOR COUNCIL REVIEW AND TO NOTE: Enclosure (D2-c) con{ains the following documents that Council should note in the minutes. a) Arthur Sidner's Environmental Quality Board, letter dated September 4, 1980 - This letter is in response to Council motion that approved the preliminary and final Alpaca Estates plat which was hinged on the completion of certain requirements. Please refer to Enclosure (A-3) of Council agenda dated September 8, 1980, which contains the August 26, 1980 minutes. Council Action: Your action should be to note receipt of this letter. b) Council Resolution #80-77 - This resolution is of a policy nature and Council should note that they have reviewed it. Council Action: Your action should be to note that you re- viewed it. c) Council Resolution #80-?8 - This resolution is of a policy nature and Council should note that they reviewed it. Council- Action: Your action should be to note that you reviewed it. d) Mayor Gamec's letter dated September 11, 1980 to ~ir. Clyde Allen State Commissioner of Revenue - This letter requests until November 18, 1980 in submitting to levy to Anoka County Auditor. Council Action: Your action should be to note this letter. e) Primary Election Returns - Copy of the primary election returns furnished for your information. Council Action: Your action should be to just note that you did view the election returns. However, don't confuse this with the can- vasing of the general election returns which you will have to do in November, 1980.
