Gamec, Mayor <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Blvd. N.W. <br />Ramsey, Minnesota 55303 <br /> <br />~Subj ect: <br /> <br />Ramsey Comprehensive plan Long-Term Extension Request <br />Metropolitan Council Referral File No. 9040-1 <br /> <br />Dear Mayor Gamec: <br /> <br />Thank you for your letter to Chairman Weaver of September 1!, <br />1980, and for the accompanying city council resolution. <br /> <br />Before the Metropolitan Council can act on your request, we will <br />need some additional information as specified in the enclosed <br />Council policy on granting extensions under the Metropolitan Land <br />Planning Act. <br /> <br />Specifically, we will need': <br /> <br />A more detail.ed explanation of the circumstances causing <br />the delay in the completion of the plan and its submittal <br />to the Metropolitan Council for review. <br /> <br />An outline indicating what parts of the plan have been <br />completed to date, and the approximate percentage completion <br />of any other plan elements. <br /> <br />A schedule showing the new completion dates for any unfinished <br />parts of the plan, hearing dates, and the date the city <br />plans to send its plan to adjacent local governments for <br />review. <br /> <br />Once the requested material is received, a staff report on the <br />city's extension request will be prepared and sent to the <br />Council's Physical Development Committee for action.
