EXTENSION: <br /> <br />At your September 30, 1980 meeting you authorized the City <br />Attorney and Engineer to contact the three landowners which <br />would be involved in the possible extension of 153rd Lane N.W. <br />The purpose of the contact was to attempt to negotiate the <br />right-of-way with the owners. The contact was made with Mr. <br />Wurm, Mrs. Baker and Mr. Haugtvedt. Mr. Haugtvedt was most <br />adament in his objection to the project and said in no way <br />would he negotiate the sale of the right-of-way and he would <br />oppose condemnation to the extent possible.
