-284- <br /> <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #04-09- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FROM ERIC THOMSEN TO <br />EXCEED THE MAXIMUM SQUARE FOOTAGE ALLOWED FOR ACCESSORY <br />STRUCTURES. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Eric Thomsen, hereinafter referred to as the "Applicant", has properly <br />applied for a Conditional Use Permit to exceed the maximum amount of square feet allowed for <br />acqessory buildings on properties [0.6 acres or greater in size as established in section 9.11.02 <br />(Accessory Uses) of City,. Code on the property generally known as 6210 Green Valley Road NW <br />and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />The Northwest Quatnter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 2, Township o_, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Mirmesota, lying south of Anoka County Road No. 63 <br /> <br />("Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT REsoLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />IL4.MSEY, ANOIqD4. COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to the request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Planning Commission for a public' hearing pursuant <br />to Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on September 2, 2004, and.that said public <br />hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br />incorporated by ref'erence. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential (Rural Developing) and is located outside <br /> the Metropolitan Urban Service Area (MUSA). <br /> <br />3. That the Subject PropetXy is surrounded by properties also zoned R-i Residential (Rural <br /> Developing and Rural Preserve). <br /> <br />4. That the Subject Property is approximately 60 acres in size. <br /> <br />5, That the Applicant has a hobby farm on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />6. That the Subject Property is eligible for a total of 5,664 square feet of accessory building <br /> space. <br /> <br />7. That there is no limitation on the number of accessory structures on the Subject Property due <br /> to its size. <br /> <br />That the Applicant has an attached garage and tour other accessory structures on the Subject <br />Property totaling 5.710 squm'e feet. <br /> <br /> <br />
