Starting from the northeast corner of said section 1; thence south on the east line of said section 1 a distance of 842.16 feet to the center line of public road; thence south 82 ½ degrees west, on the center line of public road, to a point that is 400 feet westerly of the east line when measured at right angles, this being the actual place of beginning; thence north and parallel with the said east line of section' 1 for a distance of 597 feet; thence west and parallel with the north line of section 1 a distance of .07 feet more or less to the east line of property previously conveyed to George W. Pierce and Grace M. Pierce on 12-21-61 and recorded 12-22-61 in book 543, page 571; thence south'and parallel with said east line of section 1 to said center line of public road; thence north 82 ½ degrees east, along said center line to the place of beginning. (the "Subject Property"). NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the Applicant appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a pubtic hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.07 of the Ramsey City Code on September 16, 2004, and that said public hearing was properly advertised, and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. That the Subject Property is zoned R-I Rural Developing and is approximately 1.5 acre in size. 3. That the Subject Property is sun'ounded by properties also zoned R- 1 Rural Developing. That the Subject Property is located within the Shoreland Overlay District of a Natural Environment Lake (Rogers Lake) as defined in YiN Rules. That Section 9.21.04 (Sh0reland Overlay District) of City Code establishes a structure setback of 200 feet fi'om the Ordinary High Water (OHW) mark of Rogers Lake. That the principal structure on the Subject Property is located approximately one hundred thirty (l 30) feet from the OHW mark of Rogers Lake, That the Applicant is proposing to construct a 13~-8'' x 12' three season porch addition on the Subject Property that would be approximately one hundred seventeen (117) feet frorn the OHW mark of Rogers Lake. That the. structure setbacks on neighboring properties are substantially less than the Applicant's existing home after the proposed addition is constructed'.
