Case #2: <br /> <br />Public Hearing Request for Vacation of Drainage and Utility Easements in <br />Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5; Case of Basalt Properties <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec opened the public hearing at 7:22 p.m. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon reviewed that the City Council recently <br />approved the final plat of Basalt Office Park 2nd Addition. The plat re-subdivided Lot 2, Block 1, <br />Gateway North h~dustrial Park No. 5 into two buildable lots. The Council also recently approved <br />site plans for the development of office and warehouse multi-tenant buildings on the newly <br />created lots. The final plat for Basalt Office Park 2nd Addition will create new drainage and <br />utility easements. Therefore, Basalt Properties is asking that the existing drainage and utility <br />easements be vacated. The new easement will be reviewed in Case No. 3. The City Engineering <br />Department has reviewed this layout. The first order of business would be to hold the public <br />hearing, and if the Council is inclined to introduce the ordinance, to review the revised final plat <br />in Case Number 3. <br /> <br />Citizen hlput <br /> <br />There was nolle. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Pearson, seconded by Councilmember Strommen, to close the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />The public hearing was closed at 7:24 p.m. <br /> <br />Council Business <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular City Council meeting back to order at 7:24 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Kurak, to introduce an ordinance <br />to vacate the easement for drainage and utility easements on Lots 2, Block 1, Gateway North <br />Industrial Park No. 5. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Elvig, Kurak, Cook, Pearson, <br />Strommcn, and Zimmerman. VotingNo: None. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Approval of a Revised Final Plat for Basalt Office 2''a Addition <br />Case of City of Ramsey and Basalt Properties, LLP <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Tmdgeon indicated upon further review of the site <br />plan for Lot 1, Block 1, Basalt Office Park 2~a Addition, it came to staff's attention that a parking <br />lot was proposed to be located within an existing 104 foot drainage and utility easement, which <br />was dedicated as part of Gateway North Industrial Park No. 5.
