The <br /> Career Fair this year hosted 96 employers and our staff estimate that over 1,000 <br /> people were in attendance. <br /> We were so encouraged that the city wanted to have a part in this event. Being able <br /> to financially support the transportation expenses for a bus from the Eaglebrook <br /> Parking lot to the school was beneficial to many. With the large amount of job <br /> seekers and the high traffic, this additional bussing helped get many to and from the <br /> college. <br /> We realize that filling the needs of our local employers is a concern we all share with <br /> projected labor shortages. By partnering in an event like this, we create the perfect <br /> opportunity to match job seekers with perspective employers. It is because of great <br /> partnerships like this that our job seekers had a chance to explore multiple <br /> employment opportunities and employers had the chance to fill the needs of their <br /> workforce in our community.
