Dunham Addition. Escrow account closed. <br /> <br /> Discussion on improvement of existing town roads. Mr. <br />Barstow stated that some roads need to be turnpiked. Also one <br />mile of new road was received a month ago. 400 to 500 acres of <br />land have been opened up with new roads. <br /> <br /> Discussion on signs. We need road signs, street and number <br />signs and stop signs. ~25.00 per sign is approximate cost but it <br />could be less if we install the sign. Signs should be reflector- <br />izod. Mr. Gary Gotham moved that we put up street signs and also put <br />up signs on all town roads. Mr. ~)ennis Anderson seconded the <br />motion. Motion passed. <br /> <br /> Gopher bounty. Mr. Hoffman moved that this 10~ per gopher <br />bounty be retained for the ensuing year. Seconded by Mr. Mol <br />James Jr. Motion passed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swanson moved that we publish the minutes of the township <br />meetings and legal ads in local newspapers. Seconded by Mr~ Brazil. <br />Motion passed. <br /> <br /> Discussion on addition of $8,000 to the town hall. ~. <br />scroggins moved that we hold up this addition for one year. <br />Murphy seconded the motion. Motion passed. <br /> <br /> ~.~e have a balance of $35.43 in the fire fund from last year. <br />Mr. Hoffman moved that we place $4,000 in the fire fund. Seconded <br />by Mr. Scarborough. Motion passed. Mr. Etienne stated the rail- <br />road is still disputing the fire by the trailer camp last year. <br />The 1969 session of the legislature passed a law stating that any <br />fire claim could be assessed against the property. Outstanding <br />at this time is about ~1000 in unpaid fire calls. The Town Board <br />instructed the Clerk to bill these people again for these fire <br />claims and if not paid to then turn them over to the constable for <br />collection. <br /> <br /> <br />
