Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #17-04-100 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #17-09, BUNKER LAKE BOULEVARD UTILITIES EXTENSION WHEREAS, when Bunker Lake Boulevard was extended west of Armstrong Boulevard in 2006, public utilities (sanitary sewer and watermain) were constructed to a point approximately 2,650 feet west of Bunker Lake Boulevard; and WHEREAS,public utilities were not constructed under the remaining 1,400 feet or so of Bunker Lake Boulevard, east of its intersection with Puma Street; and WHEREAS, a large residential development proposal west of Puma Street that will require public utilities to serve the development is currently under review by the City; and WHEREAS, the developer proposes to complete construction of numerous residential properties in the fall of 2017; and WHEREAS, the existing public utilities under Bunker Lake Boulevard will need to be extended through the intersection of Bunker Lake Boulevard and Puma Street to serve the residential properties within the proposed development; and WHEREAS, extending the public utilities will also allow for development of all other parcels abutting the west end of Bunker Lake Boulevard, as well as along Puma Street to Alpine Drive, which are all located within the Future Business Park area. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY,ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) The City Engineer is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement, and the engineer is ordered to prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvements.
