Board Member introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption:. <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION #04-10- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0 RELATING TO A <br />I:LEQUEST FROM JOHN ROWE FOR A VARIANCE FROM CiTY CODE SECTION <br />9.50.3t) SUBDIVISION DESIGN STANDARDS .RELATING TO STREET FRONTAGE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, John Rowe, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied for <br />a Board or' Adjustment variance fi'om Section 9.50.30 (Subdivision Design Standards - Lots) of <br />the Ramsey City Code in order to plat property at less than the minimum requirement for <br />frontage on a public road on the following legally described property: <br /> <br />The Northeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 3, Township 32, <br />Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF 'ADjuSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />-['hat the Applicants appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing pursuant to <br />Section 9.03.07 of the Ramsey City Code on October 7, 2004, and that said public hearing <br />was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated <br />as a pat1 of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />2. That the Subject Property is 40 acres in size and is zoned R-1 Residential-Rural Developing. <br /> <br />3. That the parcels surrounding the Subject Property are zoned R-1 Rural Developing. <br /> <br />4. That the property currently contains a single family dwelling unit and a commercial <br /> greenhouse operation, which is permitted by a Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />5. That the Applicants are proposing to subdivide the Subject Property to create a separate lot <br /> f~r the dwelling. <br /> <br />That l_,ot I under the proposed subciivision will contain the existing residence and is proposed <br />to be 2.5 acres in size, which is in accordance with Section 9.50.30 (Subdivision Design <br />Standards) o [ the Ramsey City Code. <br /> <br />7. ~l'hat Section 9.50.30 (Subdivision Design Standards) of the Ramsey City Code states that all <br /> l. ots shall have the minimm'n amount of frontage on a public dedicated street. <br /> <br />That Section 9.20. l l states that the minimum lot width (i.e. street frontage) in the R-1 Rural <br />IFevel. op[ng District is 200 feet. <br /> <br />19 <br /> <br /> <br />
