Notification: <br />Notifications are not required for this case. <br />Observations/Alternatives: <br />Observations: <br />Staff has contacted all abutting property owners to inform them of the tentative project schedule outlined above, <br />and to ensure them that access will remain open to their properties during construction. <br />Alternatives: <br />Alternative # 1 — Motion approving plans and specifications and authorizing advertisements for bids for <br />Improvement Project #17-00, Sunwood Drive Reconstruction. <br />Alternative #2 — Motion of other. <br />Funding Source: <br />The Feasibility Report had identified estimated costs of $607,000. The current engineer's estimate based on the <br />attached plans is $571,539.48. The improvements are proposed to be funded using a combination of street <br />reconstruction bond funds ($561,576.48) and storm water utility funds ($9,963). Special assessments are proposed <br />to be levied against benefiting properties to pay for 25% of total project costs.
